MOHAIR FLEECE SHOW

USE THE SAME ENTRY FORM FOR EITHER SHOW OR SALE. THANK YOU.
Fleeces entered for SHOW: Please fill out a seperate show/sale form for each fleece entered. Entry fee for each fleece is $3.00. Please mail fleece entry forms along with entry fee to:

1. Must be produced during the previous 12 months .
2. Must be from animals owned by the exhibitor.
3. Fleeces will be shown as raw fleece. Fleeces should be skirted and as free of vegetable matter, manure/urine tags and other foreign material as possible. Material skirted from the fleece should not be included in the final presentation of the fleece for judging. This material is considered "waste" and is not usable fiber; therefore it is not part of the productive value of the fleece.
4. Washing of fleece is NOT permitted. Applying any treatment to the fleece, such as a conditioning agent, is not permitted.
5. Fleeces will be weighed upon entry to the show and that weight will be considered the official entry weight of the fleece. All fleeces will be weighed on the same scale.
6. Natural colored and white fleeces will be shown and judged in separate shows.
7. Categories for show will be 1st clip kid, 2nd clip kid, 3rd clip, 4th clip and Adult. There will be an overall champion fleece for each the white fleece and colored fleece shows.
8. Fleeces not meeting any of the above requirements will not be accepted for show. The decision of the show manager is final!
9. While every attempt will be made to provide for the security of fleeces entered in the show, the festival will not be held liable for items lost or stolen while on display in the show/sales tent.
10. Fleeces entered for "show only" and/or for sale but not sold, must be picked up in the show/sale tent no later than Saturday, 8:00 pm. Fleeces left after that time will be unattended and if still there at the close of the show will be discarded.

1. Fleeces entered for sale must be well skirted. Fleeces heavily contaminated with vegetable matter or other debris will not be eligible for inclusion in the sale. Our goal is to provide the consumer with beautiful, healthy, clean fiber. Decision of the show manager is final!
2. Fleeces will be sold as whole fleeces only.
3. While every attempt will be made to provide for the security of fleeces entered in the sale, the festival will not be held liable for items lost or stolen while on display in the show/sales tent.
4. Fleeces entered for sale but not sold, must be picked up in the show/sale tent no later than 8:00 pm Saturday.
